This image is an impressionistic view of Lone Tree Chute at Snowbasin Ski Resort in northern Utah. There is quite a bit of motion in the blowing snow and jagged rocks. This provides an extra expressive feel to an otherwise static mountain scene.

The Art of Healing Dr. Walt Brodis was a successful physician and an avid skier, dividing his time equally between his profession, sport, and loving family, until he was faced with an unexpected challenge. He was diagnosed with a form of mental illness called Manic Depression (Bipolar Disorder). His case was severe and he had to give up his profession as a practicing physician. For nearly two decades he has been treated with powerful psychiatric medications and on-going electroconvulsive therapy treatments as well as being surrounded by the love and support of family and friends.
